Hannah E. Walker, is a native Texan, born in Forth Worth, Texas and has made Austin her home for over a decade.

Ms. Walker graduated from St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, and attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received a B.S. in Advertising and a Business Foundations in 2005. While attending UT, Ms. Walker was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, and active in Beta Alpha Rho, a pre-law fraternity, where she participated in Mock Trial. She also received several awards for her various advertising plans.

Ms. Walker earned her law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego in December 2009. While at California Western Ms. Walker earned the Academic Achievement Award in Legal Drafting and was on the Dean’s Honor List throughout her studies at California Western. Ms. Walker also received the Distinguished Advocate Award in Appellate Mock Trial, and was a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.

Before joining Hay Compere, Ms. Walker was a Mediator for the San Diego Superior Court and the Kearny Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility. She was also an associate at small firm in Westlake where she gained extensive experience in intellectual property, estate planning, probate and entertainment law. Ms. Walker also participated as a speaker and presenter on Trademarks and Trademark Registration at the Austin Bar Association People’s Law School. She is a member of the Austin Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Austin Young Lawyers Association, Texas Bar Intellectual Property Law Section, Texas Family Law Section, Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section.

Additionally, Ms. Walker is active in the community. She is a member of the Junior League of Austin and serves as the Development Advisor for the UT Austin chapter of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta.
